Insurance Coverage
Medicare
All RMEC physicians participate with Medicare. We will electronically file all claims for you. You are responsible for paying the amounts applied to the deductible and the 20 percent co-insurance. If you have a secondary insurance plan, we will also file automatically to them. Refractions and certain other services are not covered by the Medicare Program. You will not receive a statement unless there is a balance after Medicare and your secondary insurance has been processed.
Other Commercial Insurance
We will file claims to almost all carriers
Vision Service Plan
All offices and physicians are authorized providers with Vision Service Plan. We will obtain authorizations on your behalf in advance of your appointment.
Medicaid
All RMEC physicians are contracted Medicaid. You must bring the current month’s medical card with you to each visit. Services not covered by Medicaid will be your responsibility
Worker’s Compensation/Auto Accidents
When scheduling your appointment, please let us know that you are here for care due to a workplace illness/accident or auto accident. Failure to do this may result in your claim being filed to the wrong company and denied by your regular health insurance carrier. The Center will request both health and auto insurance verification for care related to auto accidents.
