COVID-19 Operational Changes

Dear Valued Patient

Young man getting vaccine

Thank you for putting your trust into Rocky Mountain Eye Center and Rocky Mountain Laser and Surgery Center for your eye care. In a collaborative effort to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and look out for the health and well-being of patients and staff, we are implementing new policies and procedures that may change your next visit.

Our centers are open for routine eye care and surgery, however, we are working with expanded hours to encourage social distancing. Some appointments have been adjusted to accommodate this objective. Please watch for patient reminders and pay close attention to appointment times as they may have been adjusted 10 minutes earlier or later for your safety. If you do not receive a patient reminder, feel free to reach out to us directly at 1-800-934-EYES.

Please notify your doctor if you answer yes to any of these questions:

We have also expanded healthcare safeguards to further protect both our patients and staff. Please prioritize health and safety by bringing and wearing your own mask, as our doctors and staff are doing the same. Your safety, and that of our staff, is of our highest priority.

We request that patients be seen alone, and recommend drivers or family members wait outside the office in their vehicle. We understand this may be a difficult adjustment, but we promise compassionate care from our staff. Special accompaniment needs can be handled on a case-by-case basis with the goal of maintaining the lowest amount of people in the clinic at one time.

We are pleased to be able to offer you the best possible care in Southern Colorado. We look forward to safely caring for you at any of our locations throughout Colorado.

Thank You for Your Trust,
Rocky Mountain Eye Care Doctors and Staff

Stay at your best health!
